The Flygt split case pump WS, HSC pump is available for flows of up to 14,000l/s (222,000 gpm) and can be installed horizontally or vertically. The standard versions of this pump are made of cast iron with rotation elements in either bronze or stainless steel. Different materials are available on request, which makes this pump the best choice for very large municipal or industrial water supply applications.

Every pumps is customized to the specific requirements of each application. The heavy-duty casing withstands extreme pressure and its rugged design resists external forces and vibrations. Both suction and discharge connections are in the lower half casing. The ability to remove the upper half casing permits easy inspection, maintenance, and removal of the complete rotating element without disturbing the piping or driver. Double suction impeller minimizes axial thrust and guarantees highly efficient, smooth, and vibration-free operation. Renewable wearing rings permit easy maintenance of proper running clearances.

Double-suction, base-mounted Series HSC³ pumps are available in 2” through 10” sizes. Motor sizes through 300 HP. Flows to 6500 GPM and heads to 400 feet. Bronze-fitted construction with a maximum working pressure of 175 psig.

The HSC³ features internally self-flushing mechanical seals for maximum lubrication, debris removal and heat dissipation. The internally flushed seals allow for a shorter shaft for reduced deflection for longer seallife. Closed-end steel baseplate with full seam welds for strength and an open top for easy grouting.

The pump bearings and mechanical seals can be serviced without disturbing the upper casing half, piping connections or electrical motor connections. An ANSI-OSHA-compliant coupling guard shields the flexible coupler.
